I took the boat to Port McNeill. Nancy, Gary and Rae joined me there.
We sailed across to the mainland and anchored Skull Bay. We then made our way north via Fury Cove, Namu, Shearwater, Butedale and on to Prince Rupert via the inslde passage.
The skipper of a power boat caught two dozen crabs in a hole at the base of the waterfall above.

About 50 nm south of Kitimat we found hotsprings at Bishops Cove.
There are several springs in the Coast Mountains maintained by the the provincial government.
Gary and Rae left the boat in Prince Rupert.
I pulled the transmission out and rebuilt it.
While waiting for parts we took the ferry south to Port Hardy. We drove our car back to Vancouver, mowed the lawns and headed 1,500 km back to Prince Rupert.
We purchased a Yetti cooler and set about filling it with salmon. We caught our limit. Nancy drove back to Vancouver and I sailed the boat back. Took me 2-1/2 weeks with strong tail winds in Hecate Strait.
